The Intermag 2026 conference took place from 13-17 April in Manchester, the first visit of the conference series to the UK for 36 years. The attendance of more than 1200 onsite delegates was the most since before the COVID-19 pandemic. AFMNET hosted a reception from 18:45 – 20:00 on Wednesday 15 April for which 32 members and 61 non-members registered. There was much stimulating discussion and AFMNET was pleased to meet the international magnetics community.
