Capabilities and expertise
The Exeter time-resolved magnetism facility is a pulsed laser facility for ultrafast and high-frequency magnetism research that offers users variable temperature, high magnetic field, and microscopy capabilities to explore ultrafast and microwave-frequency magnetic processes. Please contact me for more information on using EXTREMAG for you research or visit the EXTREMAG website: https://sites.exeter.ac.uk/extremag/
Research and Development interests
Time-domain magneto-optical microscopy techniques to directly observe ultrafast and microwave frequency magnetic processes in novel magnetic materials (2D magnets, antiferromagnets) and devices (spintronic, magnonic, acoustic).
