Theory and simulation of collective magnetic excitations as probed in large experimental facilities such as ISIS or Diamond. The main theme of my research is the interplay between the electronic spin and orbital degrees of freedom, through either spin-orbit coupling or non-collinear magnetism, using density functional theory.
