I am interested in oxide and oxypnictide phases that exhibit unusual electronic and magnetic behaviour such as the phase CeMnAsO1-xFx that exhibits an excitonic insulator phase transition driven by electronic and magnetic coupling. I have expertise in solid state synthesis, electronic and magnetic measurements, neutron and X-ray diffraction.
